Stockholm is surrounded by forests, lakes and one of the world's largest archipelagos, making it a fantastic destination for outdoor adventures. Our most popular experiences include kayaking, hiking, biking and boating, all designed to help you experience Swedish nature beyond the city centre.
That depends on what you're looking for. Choose a kayak tour for beautiful waterways and island scenery, a hiking tour for forests and wildlife, a bike tour for active sightseeing, or a boat tour if you prefer a more adrenaline way to explore the archipelago. If you're unsure, we're always happy to help you find the right experience.
No previous experience is needed for our hiking, kayaking and boating tours. For our bike tours, participants should be comfortable riding a bicycle. Your guide will provide all necessary instructions and safety information before the activity begins.
Most of our tours are suitable for anyone with a normal level of fitness. We move at a relaxed pace and take regular breaks to enjoy the scenery. Some longer adventures may require moderate fitness, but you don't need to be an athlete to join.
We run our kayak tours in most weather conditions, including light rain. In Sweden, we say, "There's no bad weather, only the wrong clothing." Simply dress appropriately and you'll still have a great experience. If weather conditions become unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule or cancel your tour.
Absolutely. Many of our guests travel solo and join our small-group tours to meet like-minded people from around the world.
Our city kayaking and biking tours start directly in central Stockholm. Most of our nature tours, including hiking and archipelago experiences, start within 20–30 minutes of Stockholm city centre. The exact meeting point is shown on each tour page and in your booking confirmation.
