No prior kayaking experience is needed for our tours. Our city and archipelago kayak trips are beginner-friendly, and our guides will provide all the necessary instructions before you set off. For those with experience, we also offer single kayaks upon request. Safety is a priority, and our tandem kayaks offer extra stability, especially for beginners.
In Sweden, we say, “There’s no bad weather, only the wrong clothing.” We run tours in most conditions. Just dress appropriately and you will still have a great time. We will contact you if a tour ever needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.
Your safety is our top priority. All our tours begin with thorough safety briefings and easy-to-follow instructions, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident on the water. Our stable tandem kayaks make tipping over extremely unlikely, especially for beginners. For those who prefer single kayaks, we recommend prior experience. In the rare event that someone takes an unexpected dip, rest assured our guides are seasoned kayak rescue pros! Think of them as your personal lifeguards on standby.
Most of our tours are suitable for all fitness levels. The pace is relaxed, and we take plenty of breaks to enjoy the scenery. If you’re concerned about the physical demands, feel free to contact us for advice on which tour might suit you best. Our longer multi-day trips require a moderate level of fitness, but you don't have to be an athlete to enjoy the experience either.
Guests often praise our friendly guides, well-organized tours, and how we make the outdoors accessible for all skill levels. Want to hear more? Check out our reviews.
Stockholm offers great kayaking conditions throughout the year. June, July and August are the most popular months thanks to long daylight hours and warmer temperatures. May and September are ideal for those looking for fewer people on the water, while our winter kayak tours from October to April offer a unique way to experience the city and archipelago in a quieter setting.
